
LEVEL 6 DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (L6DBIT) PROFILE
OVERVIEW
The Level 6 Degree makes up the third and final year of the Degree journey which is a top up on the knowledge gained during the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L5DBIT) or the NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC).
On successful completion of the qualification, students will be awarded a Degree with the University of Greenwich, that is Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Computing and Information systems.
MODULES
To complete the qualification one must study and pass five modules:
The qualification consists of the following six core units:
- Comp 1649: Human Computer Interaction and Design (15 credits)
- Comp 1643: Information and Content Management (15 credits)
- Comp 1682: Final year Project (60 credits)
- Comp 1638: Database Management and Administration (15 credits)
- Comp 1787: Requirements Management (15 credits)
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
For entry onto the University of Greenwich L6 Degree qualification students must have at least one of the following:
- NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Business Information Technology (L5DBIT) or an NCC Education Level 5 Diploma in Computing (L5DC)
OR
- An international qualification which is deemed of a similar level to the NCC Education L5DBIT or L5DC qualification. This must be agreed with NCC Education in advance.
